FAQ's
How much do you charge for private training sessions?
At our training sessions, we prioritize providing a unique and personalized experience that caters to the needs of each individual dog and owner. To give you an idea of our rates, our fees typically range from $100 - 150 per session, depending on the length and curriculum.
How much do you charge for intake?
Our meet and greet sessions are free of charge, so both parties feel no obligation to initially commit. However, our specialty training package and new intake fee is $120. This is a one-time fee. This package includes helpful training tips and advice. As well as our recommended training plan.

How much do you charge for training walks and hikes?
Dog Walking is $45 per session (Plus the training supplies fee.)
We will pick up your dog, and take him/her around your neighborhood for a training walk. You do not need to attend these training sessions. These walks last between 30-45 mins generally.
Dog Hike $60 per session (Plus training supplies fee.) We will come pick up your dog, and take him/her for a local training hike. You do not need to attend these training sessions.

What is the training supplies fee on my invoice?
The training Supplies Fee per Session is $5. The Training Supplies Fee covers all the materials and services provided by PLT for the training sessions. This includes transaction fees, training treats used during in-person sessions, the use of training tools and hardware, travel time to your location, and the creation and distribution of educational documents based off of each session. (Yes! That means you get session notes up to 48 hours after your session.)
How long are your sessions?
We schedule sessions between 30-60 minutes, but we always take the time to understand your specific situation and adjust accordingly.
Where are your sessions?
At PLT, we like to come to you! We are happy to work with you and your dog in a neutral environment for first introductions, like your front or backyard. Depending on your training goals, we can also meet you at a dog-friendly park or for a walk down the street.
Where are you located?
We are based in Kelowna, BC, Canada, and offer our services in the surrounding areas such as Lake Country and West Kelowna. However, we only offer dog walking services in Kelowna and Lake Country at this time.
